First off, I would like to welcome you to Summer Sunshine.
This is a simple story of a girl following her dream to share her light with the world.
My name is Sandhya Nand and I’m a Business/Financial Analyst/Accountant by trade and I have a Bachelor's Degree along with a MBA. I have had an amazing career in the corporate world, however I’ve always felt as though I wasn’t following my true dream.
So what is my true dream you might ask, the answer would simply be.. This!
Being born in Fiji I’ve always been around natural organic products, especially coconuts oils and other deliciously exotic products that are all the rage now.
I’m also a Reiki Master and an Empath. From a very young age I could really know how people were feeling, even though they would tell me otherwise. I remember always wondering how I could make them feel better.
Well I know now that I can’t Heal the World! But I can help to Empower! I can do this by making it easy for you to take care of yourself. By providing only the best organic ingredients, essential oils and tools to help sooth the body, mind and soul.
Where did the name Summer Sunshine come from?
While travelling on the train one morning to my corporate job, I asked myself ‘What makes me feel happy?’
I closed my eyes and saw an image of myself standing outside in the Summer Sunshine. Looking up at the blue blue sky and letting the warm sun penetrate, through my skin and fill my soul with warmth. Breathing in the fresh air and feeling Healthy, Alive and Free.
The Meaning behind Summer Sunshine
We’ve all experienced some form of darkness in our lives from time to time. I can personally say that there have been times in my life that have taken deep inner strength to get me through it. I believe with all my heart that it is in moments like these that we have to look for the light within us.
This is what Summer Sunshine means to me, it’s the Light! It represents all the goodness in the world! The beautiful planet we are blessed to live in and the wonderful people that live on it.
The purpose behind Summer Sunshine is to remind us of the positive aspects of life! To be good and kind to ourselves! Starting the journey with our Bodies to the Mind and through to the Soul.
So this is me, with open arms, shining my light onto the world, to help remind you, to Glow from within.
